Riley

BHSc (BM), Master of Physiotherapy Student

Intern at Exercise Thought
Riley is currently studying a Masters of Physiotherapy at Swinburne University of Technology. He obtained his Bachelor of Health Science at Swinburne University of Technology in 2021 and has been working at Knox Private Hospital since 2018. Riley also works as a sports trainer with the Mitcham Football Club where he manages sport injuries and assists fellow trainers with rehabilitation programs for injured players.

Outside of his studies, Riley loves playing football and being active in the community. He also coaches junior basketball teams and playing basketball with his friends. Riley has always had a keen interest in learning about the human body and feels extremely gratified with seeing people return to full health.

Riley first grew his passion for Physiotherapy when he developed myositis ossificans from a basketball injury in his youth. After visiting different healthcare professionals, he was nursed back to full capacity by the club physiotherapist (then basketball coach). Since this experience, Riley has strived to reach the profession and give back to the community which gave him so much throughout his youth.

Riley wants to leave an impression on the community and make a difference in how people view health care by assisting, educating and empowering others in regaining their independence. He also loves just meeting new people.
